The demand for quality in-home and community care is rapidly growing, and our teams are growing to meet it We’re now hiring a Support Worker located in **Wallan** to be part of our large family of support workers who pride themselves on making a difference in the community.

Each day will look a little different, but your key responsibilities will likely include:

- Provide support in everyday daily activities around the home and domestic support as needed
- Provide support with hygiene and complex personal care including condom drainage
- Assist with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance (PEG)

**Shifts available**:Thursday 8AM to 1PM and every second Monday 8AM to 1PM with the opportunity to pick up weekend shifts ad hoc.

**What you’ll bring**

We’re looking for caring, people focused individuals who will brighten our client’s days and make a positive impact on their lives. To do well in this role, you will/may have:

- Experience supporting people to maintain their independence
- Skills in Peg feed, condom drainage and mobility assist (ceiling hoist and slides sheet)
- A Certificate III (or higher) in Disability Care, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or similar
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Working with Childrens Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police check or willingness to obtain
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (inclusive of booster)
