We are currently looking for a Consultant to join the Real-World Evidence (RWE) team at IQVIA Australia for a 12-month maternity leave contract. If successful, you will become a valued member of our entrepreneurial, consultative, and collaborative team, operating at the forefront of the healthcare industry in Australia.

The RWE team is engaged in a diverse range of activities to support our pharmaceutical industry clients in generating high-quality real-world evidence (RWE). This includes:

- Designing and conducting real-world studies utilizing various methodologies (e.g., retrospective, prospective, "mixed methods") to develop scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals.
- Developing Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AIML) algorithms to aid disease diagnosis and treatment optimization.
- Conducting consulting projects to help life science clients define optimal evidence generation strategies.
- Developing cutting-edge thought leadership in the RWE space.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Consultant, you will work on a variety of client projects and internal initiatives, with responsibilities encompassing:

- Project managing client engagements / Real World studies, with guidance from senior team members.
- Assisting in the development of key client deliverables, including PowerPoint reports & slide decks, study protocols, and data analysis.
- Contributing to the preparation and execution of client meetings & workshops.
- Supporting sales opportunities and participating in proposal development.
- Conducting research based on specific briefs using both internal and external data sources.
- Engaging with existing and potential partners, such as data, technology, and research organizations.
- Proactively developing a basic knowledge of consulting methodologies, observational research, and the life sciences market through engagement delivery and participation in learning opportunities.
- Gaining deep knowledge of IQVIA data sources and the broader Real-World Data landscape.

About You:

- A Bachelor's Degree is required, and an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) is preferred.
- You should have at least three years of work experience in a healthcare/life science, consulting, research or data-focused role.
- Strong project management skills and experience are mandatory.
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is expected.
- You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and a desire for rapid learning and skill development.
- Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
