**The role**

The Program Manager '“ Technology has the overall responsibility for delivering a portfolio of multi-disciplined projects from concept through to development and execution, to hand over to production operations, as well as managing and interfacing with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, regulations and codes and ensuring that projects conform with the agreed Basis of Design and the technical requirements.

Your duties will include:

- Portfolio planning, reporting and cost forecasting;
- Being the single point of accountability for the portfolio's delivery;
- Assisting the Technology Group Superintendent with CIF submissions and future FY budgets;
- Ensuring that all areas of the project are established and executed in full compliance with the project delivery framework requirements;
- Supporting a team of project engineers to deliver projects through each phase including the CER gate submissions and approvals;
- Monitoring and communicating project progress to stakeholders, including the production of clear concise reports as required by the business;
- Co-ordinating and reviewing key portfolio documentation, including obtaining input from other departments and stakeholders
- Managing the portfolio cost & schedule, identifying and co-ordinating actions with project engineers to address any issues;
- Managing the set up and co-ordination of projects in SharePoint;
- Assessing resource requirements for the portfolio and proactively resolve any resource problems with engineering suppliers or agencies; and
- Co-ordinating and recording all project status, design, safety, risk and construction reviews.

**Selection Criteria**

Ideally you will hold a degree in electrical, controls, communications or mechanical engineering and/or have a qualification in Project Management (eligibility for AIPM certification or equivalent is desirable). You will also need to have substantial experience in delivering site-based, brownfield projects and experience in managing capital portfolios. Your commitment to HSEC in the workplace and your excellent interpersonal skills will see you secure this key leadership role.
