Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager and working closely as a member of the NSW/ACT Management Team, this role will be working closely at both a strategic and operational HR level. Taking ownership as the primary HR contact for almost a third of Alspec’s national workforce, this role will focus on providing the leadership team with the tools to lead our people, drive culture and you will manage the full employee life cycle. Assisted by a national Learning and Development Manager and the National Human Resource Manager, key focuses in the role include:

- Take ownership of full employee lifecycle, from recruitment, organizational culture and values
- Employee relations, organisational effectiveness, employee recognition and performance appraisals within NSW & ACT.
- Provide quality and timely advice to managers and employees in the areas of performance management, disciplinary processes formal complaints and grievances.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from advertisement through to onboarding and all associated duties
- Assist in the development, review and rollout of all HR related policies, procedures, programs and future workforce planning
- Assist in maintaining and developing the company HRIS (Exposure to UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready is Advantageous)
- Ideally suiting individuals with a solid background across Human Resources looking to take the next step in their career, applicants with experience across industry sectors including manufacturing, building construction, metals or warehousing and distribution are strongly encouraged. Applicants with experience with HRIS systems such as HR3 or similar would be highly regarded.
