- 23 - 30 hours per week

Maxima’s valued clients are currently looking for a permanent part time Medical Receptionist to work between 23 - 30 hours per week, paying approximately $30/hr (dependent on experience) + leave entitlements + super.

**About the Role**:

- Receiving patients on arrival in a courteous, polite manner, ensuring they have completed the appropriate paperwork and prepare history, including required health-fund forms
- Answering all incoming telephone calls
- Prepare daily running sheets
- General filing, including electronic, patient files, letters etc.
- Keep the reception, administration and waiting area tidy
- Completing end of day procedures
- Balancing EFTPOS
- Computer backups
- Posting Mail
- Closing Office & Alarming if required
- Ordering general office stationery and other items as directed
- Compile day surgery medical records in preparation for patient admission
- Assist with statistical reporting
- Complete health-fund checks of patients upcoming surgery
- Other tasks as defined appropriate by management and within the capabilities of the person at the time.

**About You**:

- Certification (not essential)
- Previous medical receptionist experience (desired)
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work Thursdays
- Police clearance or willing to obtain (required)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Confident customer service skills
