YOUR NEW ROLE

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with the GM Supply chain and manufacturing to develop and implement a consistent and best practice approach to quality across Fantastic Furniture
- Working closely with the buying team to ensure that new / existing products and packaging, and the overall customer experience meets established standards of quality.
- Leading collaborative reviews of internal / external process and procedure to drive continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Partnering with the buyers and our suppliers to identify cost-effective means in reducing product returns to consistently reduce product claims (‘Cost of Quality')
- Ensure quality plans, systems and procedures are developed, implemented, and maintained to meet Fantastic Furniture, regulator and customer standards
- Work with other teams within the business to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure suppliers, agents and factories meet Corporate and social responsibility and technical standards

ABOUT YOU
- Sound knowledge of Quality & Supply Chain (within a retail environment would be an advantage)
- 5 years plus experience in a similar role (industry experience is preferable)
- Knowledge of the furniture and homewares industry would be an advantage
- Skilled in Board level presentations, using tools such as PowerPoint and Excel to simplify key messages.
- ISO 9001 experience
- Six Sigma, or Lean Sigma experience
- End to end understanding of operations
- Possesses strong technical, communication, and negotiation skills to ensure effective communication.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to influence and engage effectively with stakeholders
- Proven ability to execute action plan deliverables in a timely manner
- Strong team management experience
