Scrum Master Lead / Agile Principles / Federal Government Role / Geelong Based / Hybrid Working

**Your new company**
Hays Technology is currently partnered with a leading federal government organisation to recruit an **EL1 Scrum Master Lead for an initial 12-month contract** with a view of further extension.

**Your new role**
Reports of EL2 Product Owner, In this role, you will be responsible to undertake complex work that delivers quality outcome across the functions of the company. You will be required to resolve issues and risks across a broad range of activities of substantial depth involving significant detail and to provide support to the team leadership of their work area in the planning and coordination of the team

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Work on sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes.
- Coordinating and reporting against overall program scope and timelines, using Agile principles.
- Managing consistent and quality delivery of program milestones and practices across diverse multi-disciplinary teams.
- Supporting overarching program governance against Agency frameworks and escalating concerns, as necessary.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve program governance, practice, and reporting.
- Coaching staff in agile frameworks and scrum practices, including coordinating development opportunities.
- Maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as and when required

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Proven previous experience as Scrum Master in highly complex project.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile Environment
- Stakeholder management experience,
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A pro-active personality, with a can-do attitude
- Preferable prior knowledge and experience in disability and/or public sector.
- Due to nature of our client, for this role you must be an Australian Citizen.

**What you'll get in return**
This role offers you an
**attractive daily rate upto $600/day plus super** and hybrid working with 2-3 days from office and remaining days from home.
