**Your new role**

As the EL1 Property Capital Works, you will work from both the Geelong National Head Office and from the comfort of your own home. The EL1 Property Capital Works is an important team leadership position and you will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned Contractors. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Leading and managing detailed and sensitive property projects.
- Managing end-to-end construction project management including, planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery and handover.
- Writing business cases, plans, executive briefs, project reports, status updates and exception reports.
- Developing research and analysis, including the preparation of draft reports on project activities.
- Managing the project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure.
- Identifying and managing program governance including the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
- Establishing and managing procurement and contracts for the delivery of the programme and monitor contractor performance.
- Leading and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encourage high performance and collaborative behaviours.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Property capital projects experience with complex scope.
- Relevant experience in project leadership and management roles.
- Qualification in Project Management
- Deep knowledge of Project Management and Construction management systems and principles.
- IT proficiency, especially MS Office
- Government experience is desired
- Australian Citizenship
