You want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.**

**In this role, you'll**:
Work with our Environment & Sustainability team based in the Southern Region to provide advice and assistance on a range of environmental and sustainability management, compliance and planning and assessment requirements to support organisational frameworks and meet the expectations of our community.

You will be reviewing and preparing environmental assessment documentation, providing technical advice, as well as conducting field work when required on sites across the southeast of NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop in the Environment and Sustainability field and looking to build upon their experience working to support infrastructure projects.

This is a fixed-term opportunity until 29/1/2026

**About you**

Alongside tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental planning, or similar discipline, you will need to have strong communication and collaboration skills, be an effective problem solver with a willingness to work across a diverse range of projects and understand state and federal regulations relating to environmental practice, policies and procedures.

You will also possess experience in delivering outcomes working across multiple projects in a time critical environment.

The role requires traveling to project sites within the region and requires a drivers license.
