**What you’ll love**
We are hiring for an Education Officer to join our Wollongong team. This is a part-time position (28 hours per week) that is focused on developing and implementing innovative waste awareness education to the wider community in the region.
This is a terrific opportunity to carve out an interesting and fulfilling career path, with so much opportunity to grow awareness in waste management.
You’ll open doors, start discussions and form relationships to implement environmental programmes and communication to facilitate sustainable practices associated with better waste management and recycling.
This is an opportunity to facilitate and educate the wider public about waste management to residents, schools and the community on correct use of bins and recycling. This includes promoting on Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) collection and Recycling services.
