**The Role**
**Ventia** are seeking to engage an **Admin & Trade Assistant** to support our team on our Defence Base Services contract. This role will see you assisting with administration tasks including distributing work orders, raising purchase orders, tracking audit results, and escorting personal and workers on base. You will also support with supervisor with effective maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities on base.

This unique hybrid role is a full-time permanent position, and you will be located at **Garden Island / HMAS Stirling in Rockingham, WA**. You will be working 8hour days (38hours per week) with 1x RDO (Rostered Day Off) per month.

The payrate for this position is $34.01 per hour.

**Your duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintain records of current permits and expiration dates for compliance purposes
- Be the first point of contact/direction for visitors and contractors entering the office/base
- Raise and organising documents according to work order requirements
- Verify purchase order details such as item quantities, and delivery requirements
- Track audit results over time to identify trends and report them
- Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the field as required
- Defence estate repairs and maintenance

**Requirements**:

- WA Driver’s Licence - HR License highly regarded
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite
