About the role
Based at any of our head office locations, this 18- month fixed term, full time Policy Governance Specialist Role reports to the Head of Transformation and Product Risk Oversight / Risk & Compliance Workstream Lead with key responsibilities relating to supporting the transformation of Policy Governance of the Group.
Working with the Policy Governance Delivery Lead, you will take the lead in progressing the activities within the BEN+ program to deliver on the transformation agenda in relation to Policy Governance as a key component of the overall risk uplift approach of the Group. This will include progressing the design related activities, assist with preparing approval documentation, working with the team to implement the approved approach and assist in demonstrating embed of the revised approach. The role will also be involved in both the design and operation of the interim governance arrangements while the final target state is developed, built and implemented.
You will also manage the Policy Governance documentation, including policies, process maps, standards, procedures, work instructions and supporting resources. You will take the lead in undertaking:
Management of the administration of the Policy Register of the Group.
Governance of the centralised storage of all policies.
Management of the policy (and related) templates of the Group
Reporting and escalation of the status of policies
Receive, document and analyse feedback relating to policies.
Understand the interrelationships between documents within the Group.
Be actively involved, and champion change to policy management within the Group.
Assist with preparation of submissions to Committees as required.
Development and implement improvements in relation to policy governance
About you
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
Experience with submission, report and policy writing.
Experience in managing large and complex tasks.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Experience in dealing with and presenting to Management Committees, Board and regulatory bodies is advantageous
Excellent submission and report and policy writing skills.
Proven ability to work as a team player within multifunctional and multidiscipline teams, sharing knowledge, contributing proactively to achieving team goals
