**Employment type: Ongoing part time (35 hrs per fortnight)**

**Salary: $106,025 - $117,363 plus super and leave loading (based on full time 35hrs p/w)**

**Grade: Clerk Grade 7/8**

**Role 1. Illawarra Shoalhaven District**

**Location**:Flexible across the Illawarra Shoalhaven District however the role will report to the Manager Client Services, Nowra CSC, and travel will be required across the district.

**Role 2. Southern NSW District**

**Location**:Flexible across the Southern NSW District however the role will report to the Manager Client Services Sapphire Cluster (Bega & Batemans Bay CSCs), and travel will be required across the district.

**Your role**

Pregnancy Family Conferencing (PFC) uses family conferencing with an independent facilitator to promote early engagement and interagency planning with pregnant women and families at risk of their newborns entering out of home care at birth.

Early engagement and partnerships between Health and the Department of Communities and Justice aims to reduce risks and the number of infants assumed into care and/or the identification of an appropriate carer prior to birth. The program utilises a strengths-based model which promotes a participatory and transparent process for parents and families.

The Pregnancy and Family Conferencing Coordinator is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the program. Two part time roles are available with flexibility of location in both districts. This is a great opportunity offering flexible working conditions and career development in your field.

**What you’ll do**

As a PCF coordinator you will:

- Work in partnership with the NSW Health PFC Coordinator
- Receive assess, and allocate referrals to the program
- Work closely and build partnerships with internal and external PFC partners including DCJ prenatal Caseworkers, Manager Client Services and Casework Specialists as well as community representatives, government, and non-government agencies.
- Collect data and contribute to evaluation and improvement of the program
- Prepare reports and submissions

**What we’re looking for**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, social science or related field or extensive experience working with complex needs
- Experience and or understanding of working in an interagency context
- Ability to travel as required
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
