**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity in the Energy Sustainability Schemes (ESS) Team at IPART for a Principal Analyst, Regulation and Compliance, IPART Officer Grade F.
This role sits within the Applications and Scheme Participant Compliance programs which is part of the broader Energy Sustainability Schemes team. The team contributes to regulatory functions under the Energy Savings Scheme and the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme. Key functions include:
- assessing scheme participant (energy retailers) compliance against annual energy savings certificate targets
- assessing the eligibility of energy efficient products for use in the schemes
**In this role you will:?**
- ** **lead the thinking and manage the daily operations of our key work programs and projects
- undertake analysis using a risk-based approach to help make decisions regarding regulatory and compliance related matters
- prepare and present written briefings to senior staff and the Tribunal, our decision maker
- prepare publicly available guidance to support accreditation and compliance processes?
- interact with industry and government stakeholders to provide guidance and facilitate high rates of voluntary compliance?
- advise on and support the effective administration of best practice regulatory and compliance programs and policies.
The salary range for this role is $133,712 to $141,965 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and leave loading.
