**About the role**

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Operations Supervisor will take ownership of key finance functions, particularly accounts payable, financial controls, and vendor management. We’re looking for a bright, motivated all-rounder with at least three years of relevant experience who can work independently, think proactively, and contribute to process improvements that deliver real value.

Key responsibilities:

- Oversee accounts payable activities, with support from an off-shore shared services centre. This includes regular monitoring and reporting of payables and aged balances.
- Ensure all supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform daily matching of banking transactions.
- Manage vendor relationships, fixed asset accounting, and expense accounting.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and expense accruals.
- Contribute to the budgeting and cashflow forecasting process.
- Develop and maintain documentation of key financial processes to support internal controls.
- Liaise with outsourced partners to ensure all ASIC-related compliance obligations are met and lodged appropriately.
- Collaborate with treasury staff to streamline payment processing, ensure disbursement controls are in place, and anticipate significant cash movements.
- Undertake other duties and special projects as directed by the Finance Director.

**About the person**
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent reporting and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly numerate with strong analytical thinking
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
