**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
A great opportunity has become available for a passionate, talented, and self-driven professional to join our **Category Marketing Lead **team based in **Greystanes/Macquarie Park NSW.**
The purpose and your responsibility of this role is to manage the end-to-end implementation of all product marketing requirements for your Categories, that will have a measurable ROI and will support Blackwoods commercial objectives. End-to-end implementation includes the awareness and promotion of new products, ranges and clearance of products within your category.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Category marketing strategy and plan
- Develop & oversee Product Marketing plans to increase market penetration and brand strength
- Manage your Category plans and calendars and ensure this is integrated to the overall marketing team plan and objectives
- Develop marketing requirements, in conjunction with other relevant marketing team members, to support launch of new products and ranges as well as manage the cross-functional implementation
- Determine and deliver content requirements to support effective delivery of category representation in catalogues, working with colleagues
- Manage and Report on Category Marketing plan status and results, ensuring stakeholders are informed and communicated with throughout the development and execution
- Responsible for providing category marketing support to the Campaign & Category Marketing Manager during the execution of promotional campaigns
- Develop category campaigns to support supplier promotional funds as required
- Communicate and be accountable for the actions needed to implement the category marketing strategy
- Be prepared to challenge the status quo, winning as a team and celebrating success
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary/Bachelor Qualification in Marketing (required)
- Wide and extensive experience in a product marketing or similar role, preferably in a B2B business
- Project management experience
- Can demonstrate bringing organisation values to life
- Verbal/written communication
- Customer & Market Analysis
- Marketing commercialisation
