**Your Opportunity**

As a Technical Specialist, you will be working alongside the Sales Team/Account Managers in providing customer facing technical expertise and support to deliver compelling offers and innovative solutions to our customers. In this role, you will support and champion a portfolio of welding and abrasives products.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity. This role will be based at **Blackwoods Greystanes.** Given the nature of the role there is the requirement for travel within a designated territory to support the Sales Team.

**Some of the tasks**:

- Developing and strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers/suppliers through delivery of technical expertise and customer value
- Collaborating with account managers and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of sales support for welding and abrasive products, from identification, development, to delivery of customised solutions
- Managing and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline, utilising CRM systems, while providing key market insights and performance reports
- Equipping our sales and customer service teams with comprehensive product knowledge and training
- Assisting with quote and tender responses, including expert product recommendations
- Contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives

- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to build positive and productive working relationships
- Passion for face-to-face customer interactions and providing tailored technical solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in CRM systems preferred
