SERV is on the hunt for an experienced Accounts Admin Officer who will be responsible for supporting for the Senior Accounts Coordinator with end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable. This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership within a fun and collaborative Finance team, focused strongly on customer service, process improvement and effectiveness. This newly developed finance role operates within the Corporate & Strategy function in a technology-based organisation delivering a service on behalf of government.

**The role’s key responsibilities**
Reporting to the Senior Accounts Supervisor, the role provides AP/AR related services to both internal and external stakeholders and customers while proactively solving problems and using initiative and common sense to make process improvements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Process end-to-end accounts payable and receivable through an accounting & finance System (SAGE Intacct)
- Data Entry and general finance related administration
- Participation in accounts establishment/finalisation
- Undertake regular reporting activities internally and to external organisations
- A variety of administrative tasks including ad-hoc finance, payroll and administrative duties
- Processing of confidential/sensitive information or items
- Coverage for essential team duties for other staff members on leave
**What we’re looking for**
- A problem solver who can confidently bring new ideas and solutions to the table
- An enthusiastic and focused individual with exceptional time management and prioritisation skills
- A strong communicator with the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- An experienced ERP systems operator, ideally with Sage Intacct or other large cloud-based ERP system
- A relevant degree or qualification would be an advantage, but is not mandatory
**What you’ll bring to the table**:
- Previous experience in an end-to-end accounts receivable/accounts payable position
- A strong client focus to enable the provision of excellent service to business partners.
- Strong communication skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills would be an advantage
