**About the Role**

The Design Team Lead manages the daily operations of the team, including but not limited to managing and supporting designers, leading brand initiatives, ensuring quality control of designs, and managing the design team’s administration. Working closely with delivery and sales teams, the design team lead plays a crucial role in facilitating and growing the company’s design offering; advising clients on their design and UX needs, while also providing strategic perspective back to relevant stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Design Team’s high-level growth goals and direction, with input from the Company Directors and Leadership Team
- Manage, lead and grow the design team members through one-on-one mentoring and supporting individual learning paths
- Facilitate incoming design work and collaborate with your design team to ensure it is adequately allocated to relevant design team members.
- Maintain camaraderie and engagement in the Design Team
- Peer review and copy-edit the work of the Design Team for quality purposes
- Contribute to strategy or, insights for small-scale to large-scale projects, harnessing your in-depth knowledge of design, compelling content, and technology
- Work with the sales team and delivery team for the purposes of prototyping designs, presenting service offerings or understanding deeper requirements
- Conduct UX audits and presentations for clients when required
- Lead the development and maintenance of the company voice, branding and associated documentation, working closely with the SLT.
- Research market trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape with continuous research, present relevant findings to SLT where relevant

**Position Prerequisites**
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in design, digital and eCommerce-related roles with clearly demonstrated success in mentoring or team management, strategic planning, and relevant tertiary qualifications
- Proven experience in editing and reviewing written and visual work, with very high attention to detail. Ideally qualification in editing or, proven examples of English language proficiency with writing and editing.
- A CX/UI/UX/eCommerce design portfolio demonstrating successful projects from previous roles and experiences
- Highly proficient in design software such as: Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, Jira and Microsoft Office
- Up to date with trends, news and developments in the design and eCommerce industries
- Experience working with clients effectively
- Experience managing other designers effectively and mentoring their development
- Experience working with Company Directors and Senior Leadership

**Shift Time**
- 9AM am to 5:30 pm, Manila Time, Monday to Friday
