We have a unique opportunity for a Development Manager to join high our performing team in our Commercial business unit, based at Melbourne Quarter on a full time, permanent basis.
The Development Manager - Commercial on the OSD South project will be responsible for supporting the Senior Development Manager in the end-to-end delivery of this exciting project located on Melbourne’s most well-known intersection.
Key responsibilities will include preparation of feasibilities and internal governance papers, managing planning outcomes, preparation of marketing collateral, pre-commitment leasing, management and negotiation of contracts and delivery through the construction phase. This role is market facing, playing an important part in securing commercial tenants through Agreements for Lease. As the new Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in managing complex stakeholders including government, investors, tenants, and neighbours through the lifecycle of our developments.
A collaborative mindset and strong culture of teamwork is imperative, as you will be working in close conjunction with the project team, including the Senior Development Manager and the broader Commercial team to manage designated work streams within a project to an exceptional standard.
A strong track record in working within a multidisciplinary team, design development, cost control, governance processes, authority management, commercial acumen, and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential to this role. Some experience in leasing deals, managing tenants, and working with third party investors is desirable.
Tertiary qualification in a property development/construction related field is essential.
