**About the Role**

The primary role of a TAFE SA **Lecturer** is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Fabrication and Welding, with current, hands-on industry involvement
- Trade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate III
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or TAE40116
- Strong expertise in advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding, along with comprehensive fabrication skills
- Understanding of current fabrication industry trends, knowledge and cultural practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleague

**Special Conditions**
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
