The opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Statutory Planner to work within an energetic and motivated team at a municipality located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
- Dual occupancies
- Large residential and industrial subdivisions
- Major Advertising Signs
- Liquor License
- Car parking dispensation to facilitate different types of use
You will also be responsible for researching and preparing evidence for VCAT, assisting management where required, report writing, improving delivery of planning services and providing advice to internal departments & the general public.
- A degree in Town Planning, or relevant qualifications/experience
- A solid understanding of the Victorian Planning Schemes, Planning Legislation and state, regional and local planning strategies
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience working for a Victorian Council will be advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is an excellent opportunity for a Statutory Planner with local experience to to join an ever growing team.
- Hybrid role
- Hourly rate negotiable
- Must be able to hit the ground running

- 3 & 6 month contracts available
