The Aboriginal Partnerships Coordinator role presents the following opportunities to the right candidiate:
- An opportunity to progress self-determination for Traditional Owners and Aboriginal Victorians through supporting co-ordination and delivery of Pupangarli Marnmarnepu, DEECAs Aboriginal Self-Determination Reform Strategy 2020-2025.
- Work with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal Victorians to ensure that DEECA consistently delivers on what we say we will do.
- Support the embedding of systems and processes that enable this important work.

- Understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal community.
**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Extensive knowledge of Aboriginal culture, society and land and resource management issues in Victoria and understanding of networks within Victorian Aboriginal communities and natural resource management agencies.
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with diverse Traditional Owner groups and Aboriginal Victorians and ability to strengthen and build relationships and partnerships.
**This is a fixed term position available until 08 December 2025. The work location for this position is in the Grampians Region (Horsham or Ballarat preferred) with hybrid work arrangements available.**
