We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner - Commercial Markets reporting directly to our Head of Commercial Markets.

In this exciting new role, you will be a strategic enabler as we look to transform our Middle Market Underwriting approach, driving the vision, strategy, planning and roadmap for success through Agile and Lean ways of working to achieve ambitious goals.

As Product Owner, you will be accountable for delivering maximum value to our customers by implementing new ways of working, cutting-edge technologies (including AI, front-end systems) to create a new end to end underwriting capability based on some challenging ambitions.

You will ultimately be responsible for an improvement squad and your mission will be to continuously integrate both internal and external insights into the solutions your Squad delivers, ensuring optimal business outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.

In order to be successful in the role, you will have the following:

- Customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Tertiary qualification(s) and substantial relevant experience
- Product Owner certification, business analysis, and product management experience an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the industry and related products.
- Business acumen; accuracy in estimating the market size and viability of a product or feature.
- Experience with the definition of minimum marketable features and minimum viable product.
- Product visioning and roadmap experience.
- Understanding of and experience delivering products using Agile methodologies.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
- Strong leadership capability, including strategic thinking, conflict management, analytical, problem-solving, outstanding communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to drive outcomes.
- Technical proficiency in modern technologies, including AI, machine learning, and cloud services advantageous.
