**The Role**
Are you ready to dive into a pivotal role that keeps our gears turning smoothly? As our Payroll Specialist, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our team gets what they deserve, accurately and on time. Using ADP Payforce software for payroll management and Deputy for time in attendance tracking, you'll be the backbone of our payroll operations.

**The Job**
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

- Process payroll efficiently, gathering information from various sources including our time in attendance system.
- Verify and reconcile pay preparation reports meticulously, leaving no stone unturned.
- Maintain compliance with the General Retail Industry Award (GRIA), ensuring our team receives their pay, penalties, and entitlements.
- Keep our payroll records up-to-date and audit-ready, because accuracy is key.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to detect any discrepancies and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on changes to GRIA regulations and implement necessary adjustments to our payroll processes.
- Collaborate with our People and Culture team to address any GRIA-related issues that may arise.
- Take charge of maintaining our Time in Attendance System, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Calculate and submit taxes and superannuation accurately and on time, staying informed about any regulatory changes.

**The Skills Needed**
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, preferably in a GRIA-regulated environment.
- Proficiency in using ADP software for payroll processing and reporting.
- Strong grasp of tax regulations and compliance.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.
- A knack for organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, conveying information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to meet deadlines and go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed on time.
