We’re seeking a Category Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support New Formats, specifically our exciting new business, atomica
In this role, you’ll assist in achieving category goals by ensuring efficient processes and collaborating closely with category managers to execute the category plan. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality work, analysing data to provide insights on category planning, procurement, and pricing, and using strong problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. With a solid understanding of category management, you’ll ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Most excitingly, you get to work within the beauty category for one of Australia’s newest beauty destinations.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Basic understanding of Category Management, relevant legislation, and inventory management processes.
- Experience in the retail industry with an understand of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Desirable experience in the pharmaceutical industry with the knowledge of government and scheme compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, data management, and communication skills, with the ability to provide insights, report, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, or Retail, along with a High School Certificate
