**About the role:
We're looking for a dynamic Category Assistant to strengthen collaborations across diverse teams and drive our category objectives forward. In this role, you'll work closely with category managers to turn strategic plans into actionable steps while providing essential administrative support.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the development of Category Plans.
- Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to assist the Category Manager in shaping strategies.
- Manage the full execution process, including insights, procurement, distribution, inventory management (both in-store and online), and stock resolution.Drive both planned and unexpected revenue and sales growth while keeping an eye on the category's profit and loss dynamics.

**What you’ll bring:
- Background in Category/Buying/Merchandise Assistant roles with knowledge of retail compliance.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and government regulations is preferred.
- Understanding of Category Management, regulatory standards, and inventory effects.
- Strong analytical, data management, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Proactive, resilient, and adaptable in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Growth-oriented mindset with the ability to provide clear guidance.Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, or Retail.
