**About the role**:
We have an exciting role available for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team. Reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Manager your responsibilities will include managing the Group’s inbound international freight functions by facilitating communication between internal Accent Group business departments, external suppliers and service providers. Maintaining accurate records and system data, providing suitable feedback and reporting to the relevant business units whilst overseeing the Logistics Assistant position.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Take the lead in managing the day-to-day operation of the business’ international inbound logistics functions and in doing so maintain a knowledge base of existing international freight practices and trends.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with freight forwarders and service providers, ensuring that required performance levels are met, accurate regular reporting is received as required, and all KPIs are met.
- Maintain accurate purchase order data in Ap21 by utilizing supplier order confirmations, supplier production schedules, freight forwarder reporting, and internal reporting tools.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all international freight queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and present excel inbound freight schedules.
- Prepare monthly reporting data to be presented to wider supply chain team and senior management.
- Ensure all relevant legal, regulatory or internal process are followed within area of responsibility
- Take responsibility for special projects and additional tasks as requested and where reasonable.
**To succeed in this role, you will need to have**:
- Demonstrated experience within a similar role
- Demonstrate an understanding of international logistics practices.
- Demonstrable aptitude in forging and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite with strong excel skills.
