About the Role
As a Business Governance & Controls Manager in our team, your role will sit within the Suncorp Bank Integration Program (SBIP) Delivery/ Program Management Office (PMO) and exists to provide assurance support to the Program, developing best practices for project delivery and non-financial risk management. In this role, you will be leading Assurance activities across the SBIP including coordinating Change Risk Materiality Assessments (CRMA) and project delivery and non-financial risk assessments in conjunction with Workstream Leads and ongoing review of Program delivery risk management. You will also play an active role to drive improvement in Risk capability/ culture/ awareness across SBIP.

What will your day look like?
**As a Business Governance & Controls Manager, you will**:
Actively work with the Program Managers/ Initiative Leads to manage their risks management on a regular basis, including the documentation of their delivery and non-financial risks
Provide guidance and support to SBIP stakeholders on risk management activities and compliance matters
Promote a strong risk and compliance culture throughout SBIP
Work with the team to build strong, open and transparent relationships with all key stakeholders, including ANZ, Suncorp Bank and Suncorp Group
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated experience in a first, second
- or third-line risk management role with strong working knowledge of I.AM+ and the ADF
Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence and the ability to create reports
A curious mindset and an ability to manage ambiguity and change, and be self-directed
Strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving capability
Team player with proven stakeholder management and relationship building skills to influence outcomes
