**About Us**

Myxa Care is a registered NDIS Service provider assisting people with disability, their family, and carers. We deliver individually tailored services to maximise participant choice and control. We aim to support our participants to empower them to achieve their goals and live a full life.

We are currently seeking a Support Coordinator to join our growing team on a part-time or full-time basis.

**About you**

You are a dedicated, and compassionate individual with a real desire to make a difference to the lives of people living with disability. You’ll have previous experience as a Support Coordinator and a comprehensive understanding of the support requirements of participants.

**Your new role**

As the Support Coordinator you will be required to assist participants to build the skills required to better understand the use of their plan. You will work with participants to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase their capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently, and be included in the community. You will work creatively and resourcefully with participants to ensure they utilise their support budgets to achieve their goals

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Relevant qualification in the disability or community sector
- Understanding of the role and expectations of a Support Coordinator
- Experience working with and an understanding of the complex needs of people living with disability
- Have a thorough understanding and experience in delivering services according to NDIS Practice Standards
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Excellent time management and task planning skills
- A high level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and initiative
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Driver’s licence

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
