**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join the Strategic Communications team based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, you will work collaboratively within the External Communications team to develop external communications strategies and initiatives in accordance with Australian Retirement Trust’s strategy. This will see you deliver a range of external communications (i.e. executive speeches for corporate and external events, corporate reports, corporate presentations and speaking points, corporate key messaging, opinion pieces, feature articles, web content and high-level correspondence) that execute on ART's narrative and are aligned to brand voice for a range of diverse audiences from prospective and current members, employers, advisers, government stakeholders and the public.

As a key influencer across the business, you will provide specialist communications advice, including editorial guidance to ensure communication across the business aligns to the Fund’s strategy.

This role is available as a **permanent** opportunity.

We are **flexible** with location provided you can attend our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office at least once a week.

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

- Significant experience in a similar corporate communications or external communications role with a degree in Communications, Public Relations or equivalent.
- Strong journalistic, storytelling, copywriting and editing skills, and experience in simplifying complex matters and topics for different audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in long-form writing, such as feature articles, speeches and corporate reports, including annual reports.
- Demonstrated experience in working with senior management to develop c-suite speeches, presentations and briefing papers.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate concepts and ideas in a way that will persuade, convince and influence others, including the ability to write using plain language.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Advanced verbal and written skills, including coaching on communications related issues.
