The Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team at Great Southern Bank is dedicated to enhancing and protecting the bank's reputation and building our brand across all stakeholders. We lead the bank's corporate narrative, ensuring it is consistently communicated to internal and external audiences across all channels.
**A little bit about the role**
As the Corporate Communications & Content Specialist, based in either Brisbane or Sydney, you will be at the forefront of bringing Great Southern Bank's story to life through PR, social media, and multimedia/digital communications. You will proactively create and produce engaging, newsworthy content to grow our reach and audience engagement. Your strong risk radar will help you identify emerging reputation risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. You will be the go-to expert for activating and leveraging our corporate social media channels, coordinating and activating PR opportunities with our PR agency, and working with vendors to maximise the effectiveness of our social media platforms. You will also work closely with the Marketing division to align our brand voice and content across all channels.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively and reactively creating content to enhance and protect reputation and build brand across corporate social media channels, potentially adapting content for consumer channels.
- Collaborating with in-house designers and/or external suppliers to source creative assets.
- Being the key point of contact for our external PR agency and supporting them to identify PR opportunities and develop messaging.
- Developing and managing a monthly content calendar for corporate social media channels.
- Working closely with Marketing to align corporate and consumer-facing social media channels and provide relevant content, generate analytics and insights on social media performance and ensure governance processes are maintained and adhered to.
**Essential experience**
- Strong experience in corporate communications, with a proven track record of effectively managing and creating content for corporate social media channels.
- A creative and experienced professional, who is skilled in utilising social media channels to support brand and reputation objectives of a consumer facing business.
- An expert storyteller who excels in written, oral and visual communication, with a strong background in developing content, including briefing and procuring creative and multimedia assets for digital channels.
- A data-driven individual who is passionate about using analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement, and is proficient in using media monitoring and social media publishing, reporting, and analytics tools.
- Proven experience in reputation management on social media and able to handle high-pressure situations, juggle competing priorities and tight deadlines, all while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
**A little bit about us**
We believe in investing in our people and offer a range of benefits including an incentive program, extensive training and development opportunities, and employee discounts on financial and insurance products. And with over 75 years of putting our customers first, Great Southern Bank is dedicated to helping all Australians own their own homes.
