**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Environment Manager to join our Infrastructure Technology team at our CBD head office on a full time and permanent basis.

This position will be responsible for ensuring the planning, coordination and management of infrastructure environment changes and release activities coming from an agile-like lead teams within the Infrastructure Technology portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Technology, the role contributes to the overall IT infrastructure portfolio and works across all business units creating and maintaining strong relationships to enable IT change management to run smoothly.

In addition, the role must collaborate closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure that the balance between the needs of the system and environment owners regarding planned outage windows, change tolerance and forward planning are considered.

**What you’ll deliver**:

- Create, maintain, and prioritise the Infrastructure Technology domain IT change function of planned and unplanned work to deliver environment improvements with mínimal outage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop agreed outage windows for change, allowing for rollbacks, remediations and production verification testing.
- Ensure change quality, planning, testing and resourcing is performed.
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships at all levels within both IT and non-IT business units.
- Create, own, maintain and communicate the infrastructure technology outage map to ensure agreement, understanding and support.
- Contribute to the operational risk and assurance processes by attending and representing the Infrastructure Technology Domain in relevant forums.
- Own and drive the infrastructure capacity needs at data centres/sites e.g. available rack space, power etc.
- Work with the stakeholders to understand and prioritise projects, enhancements, and minor works to ensure business outcomes are met across Victoria Power Networks (VPN) and United Energy (UE).
- Review and refine environment management and operational practices with both internal and external best practise models to ensure they are fit-for-purpose.

**To succeed in this role you’ll have**:

- University degree or post graduate level qualifications in Business Administration or IT, and/or significant work experience
- Agile certification or equivalent experience in establishing and running iterative/Agile teams and processes
- ServiceNow certification, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure change management and improvements practices
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
- Proficiency in core delivery methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, SAFe and DevOps
- Demonstrated previous experience as an Infrastructure Environment &/or Ops Manager
- Experience working in a multi-sourced environment
- Experience working in combined waterfall and agile environments
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team mentoring skills including people uplift capability.
