Are you a skilled leader in food services, passionate about delivering high-quality catering and nutrition services? The Yorke & Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) is seeking a dedicated **Food Services Consultant** to join our Nutrition and Hydration Team. This role offers the opportunity to support our Acute and Aged Care facilities, ensuring the delivery of nutritious, compliant, and consumer-focused meals that meet high food safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of seasonal menus, ensuring nutritional and food safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with dietitians, speech pathologists, and catering staff to improve food quality and service delivery.
- Support food safety audits, manage compliance, and drive continuous quality improvement.
- Deliver training on food preparation, cooking methods, and equipment use to upskill staff.
- Contribute to the development of service goals, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Leadership skills in communication, project management, and problem-solving.
- Experience in large-scale food preparation and menu planning, particularly in healthcare or aged care settings.
- Strong knowledge of menu/nutrition standards and food safety regulations (SA Health, IDDSI framework).
- A commitment to staff development, cultural inclusivity, and workplace safety.
