About the role:

Support Food Service delivery at Uniting AgeWell in Mornington (Victoria), by providing a service in accordance with the current planned menu and requirements of the Food Safety Program, that supports and enhances resident's individual needs and wellbeing.

Tasks include:

  • Working within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas
  • Permanent part time roster, Sunday to Thursday 1.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Serving residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitors
  • Provide feedback regarding residents' likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and escalate any observations or concerns in residents conditions
  • Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
  • Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise

About you:

  • Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care setting
  • Have availability to work above-mentioned roster

  • Are experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of service

  • A current Working With Children Check Employee card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
