Are you passionate about food and looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a difference every day? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Services Assistant, to support the meal preparation and delivery operations within our health unit.

In this vital role, you’ll ensure our clients enjoy delicious and nutritious meals while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals, from hearty breakfasts to quick snacks, and engaging with clients to accommodate their dietary needs. Your contributions will not only nourish our clients but also enhance their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve meals, including breakfasts, soups, and fast-serve options.
- Communicate with clients about menu preferences and dietary requirements.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support laundry duties as needed, including sorting and washing linen.

**Essential Criteria**
- Some experience in catering, housekeeping, or laundry services.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to various work settings and rostering systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Respect for confidentiality and ability to maintain discretion.
- Good written, verbal, and numeracy skills.

This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
