**About the Role**:
The Team Lead Asset Management (O&M) leads a team of Asset Managers in managing all operations and maintenance activities across Beon’s solar and transmission portfolio. The role acts as an escalation point to solve problems, ensures sound stakeholder management, and fosters a culture of collaboration and mentoring across the Operations and Maintenance teams. This culture is key in the team effectively executing key O&M contracts, ensuring they are actively managed, and all site works are planned and delivered efficiently and safely.

**In this role you will deliver**:

- Play an active part in creating a safe working culture and ensuring health, safety and environment are inherent in the services provided by the team.
- Develop, implement and maintain development plans that ensure team capabilities are growing and aligned for the delivery of current and future contracted works.
- Act as the central point for the coordination of team activities and priorities in line with project team requirements.
- Support the team’s performance and career objectives through coaching, training, and development.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Asset Management team and develop and maintain strong internal key stakeholder networks to review and improve project delivery.
- Build and grow positive client relationships through value-add initiatives, regular contact, and proactive reporting.
- Liaise with Works Planners and Contract Managers, along with the Head of Commissioning, Operations & Maintenance, to ensure all maintenance activities are proactively planned and scheduled.
- Proactively manage existing contracts to ensure delivery requirements for each O&M contract are efficiently met.

**To succeed in this role you will have**:

- Demonstrated work experience with leading a team
- Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance practices and contract management principles.
- Working knowledge of the operations and maintenance of electrical assets.
- Experience with the Renewables or Utilities industries (preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in project management and/or engineering (preferred)
