Asset Replacement Officer

**Your key responsibilities:
- Effective and proactive coordination, administration and management of the annual IT asset replacement program from requisition to retirement of assets, ensuring control, compliance, efficiency and accountability.
- Perform moderately complex tasks under mínimal supervision to address questions or problems in relation to the collection, validation, processing and reporting of hardware asset data, including developing and providing information and detailed reports as required.
- Manage time and competing priorities effectively, use initiative, plan, arrange and coordinate workload in accordance with operational requirements and customer demand, meeting and adhering to deadlines and completing tasks to achieve outcomes, whilst remaining flexible to changing needs.
- Liaise and negotiate with customers, management and suppliers to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure economic and effective supply of goods and services.
- Professionally manage stakeholder relationships, respond to enquiries and provide timely, accurate and detailed advice, both written and verbal, resolving the majority of problems without the need for escalation.
Other skills:
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and processes that enable the Department to manage IT asset replacement and any related duties, with respect to administration, forecasting, audit, risk, cost, control, and governance.
- Understand the work environment and contribute to the any general duties that are related to the function or the Department needs, including procurement, administration, development of plans, strategies and team goals by thinking laterally and undertaking systematic analysis to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.
- Establish clear plans and timeframes for work tasks, including administration, monitoring progress and committing to achieving quality timely outcomes through adherence to relevant policies, procedures and other documentation.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers by responding to changing needs and proactively and effectively managing expectations.
- Adopt a principled approach through adherence to public service values, including the Code of Conduct by displaying ethical behaviour qualities, including, honesty, integrity, confidentiality and respect for all customers and staff, and show initiative and take personal responsibility for meeting objectives and achieving outcomes.
- Communicate and present messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner, in particular the ability to discuss issues in a credible and thoughtful manner and present persuasive counter arguments.
