**The opportunity**
You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of care at Warrigal by shaping and driving the clinical education strategy for our staff. In this role, you’ll ensure that our team is equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and career development opportunities to deliver safe, high-quality care to our customers. By promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth, you’ll help position Warrigal as a leader in aged care education, ensuring our workforce is prepared to meet the evolving needs of the organisation. In this role, you’ll develop and implement training programs, collaborate with external education providers, and create clear career pathways for staff at all levels. Using data and insights, you’ll identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to upskill the workforce, ultimately enhancing the care we provide to residents and customers.
Based at Warrigal Central in Oak Flats, with travel to multiple sites across NSW and ACT, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a values-driven, award-winning organisation.

**The requirements | What it takes to do this work**
**Essential**:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical or education field and/or significant experience in both clinical practice and education.
- Proven experience in a supervisory, management, Clinical Nurse Educator, or Learning & Development role.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic education initiatives using innovative, evidence-based learning approaches aligned with adult learning principles.
- Confident and skilled in delivering training and facilitating group learning.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with competency-based assessment in clinical care settings.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing complex clinical education strategies and workforce development plans.
- High-level business writing skills, with the ability to prepare professional reports and documentation.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across Warrigal sites.
