**The Gig**

We have an excitingly new opportunity for a **Marketing Communications Executive **to come on-board with us at Ovolo Hotels. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager AU, the Marketing Communications Executive will support the Marketing, PR, and Communications activities for Ovolo Group Australia.

The Marketing Communications Executive will assist ensuring all activities align with our Ovolo brand and maximise Ovolo’s positive exposure in local and international markets across various platforms. As part of the Marketing Team, the role will also work closely with the broader team, and Senior Marketing Communications Manager AU specifically.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager AU, you will be assisting our hotel GM's & HOD's to ensure a smooth transition of marketing communications across both Ovolo Hotels and their respective Food & Beverage Outlets. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Coordination of promotional and contra activities with third parties and suppliers
- Work with the Director of Marketing and PR Agencies in contributing to the success of quarterly Communications plans. This will include assisting and delivering a wide range of static and moving content, including press kits, press releases, Q&A’s aligned to the brand, and designed to generate positive publicity within consumer and trade media channels.
- Assist the various hotel Managers in leveraging key hotel events. This will include the development of supporting media liaison, branded content opportunities and media collateral.
- Work with the Digital Manager (AU & HK) to ensure all communications align with the digital function across Website, Search (SEO, SEM and PPC) and Social channels.
- Support the Communications needs of the launch of new hotels in the AU region
- Respond to general Australian marketing inbox and phone queries received from all channels. Pro-actively work with the Australian internal teams such as F&B, Sales, Revenue and Hotel Management to resolve queries.
- Budget administration including coordination of supplier invoices and processing with accounts.
- Co-ordination of relationships with all Tourism Agencies.
- Assist with the daily media relations, media enquiries, site tours and opportunities for Ovolo Hotels and F&B outlets.
- Assist with the coordination of any press monitoring queries with press monitoring supplier.
- Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage for monthly reports.
- Coordinate photography assets for the group including management of photographers + briefing documents for any new photo or video shoots.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Digital**:

- Work with the Digital & eCommerce Manager (AU & HK) to ensure all communications align with the digital function across Website, Search (SEO, SEM and PPC) and Social channels.
- Work with Director of Marketing and Marketing Communications Manager to collate content direction for Silver Egg Blog.
- Work with local social media ambassadors and assist with agency queries through these channels including coordination of photoshoots.
- Content management of all property websites and upkeep of image library.
- Work with Director of Marketing and Marketing Communications Manager to update website content for relevant Ovolo promotions.
- Support with all F&B communications activities and promotions across Australia.
- Work with local F&B teams to create fortnightly social media calendars.

**Experience**
- Must have
- Food & Beverage experience in restaurant marketing/promotions/activations - development and execution
- Knowledge of trends / the current market / consumer needs and wants
- Digital marketing experience - including social media and CRM (we use revinate for our EDMS)
- Wordpress experience - can learn but would be good if they knew back end
- Copy writing - for social / EDM / Website
- Ability to work with external agencies and partners
- Work with internal and external digital teams - website/crm/social/paid ads
- Creative briefing and overseeing of designed assets
- Reporting & analysing of figures
