**About the role...**

We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources team. This role focuses on assisting our current Payroll Manager with their duties as well as providing coverage during our busy periods.

In this role, you will assist with payroll operations and manage relationships with employees regarding their compensation. You'll need to proactively handle payroll processing and seek opportunities to streamline procedures. Success in this position requires a collaborative team spirit, alongside the capability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and maintain meticulous organisation.

**Qualifications and experience...**
- Two or more years of end to end payroll experience
- Previous experience attending to internal payroll enquiries
- Adept at producing reporting on payroll related matters
- Sound understanding and interpretation of National Awards and EBA's
- Confidence in Excel
- Previous use of MicroPay software desirable
- Knowledge of Kronos and PowerBI desirable
