**About Future Energy**:
Energy Transition and Decarbonisation is one of Ampol’s four strategic pillars, a key priority area that will help ensure we deliver on our purpose to ‘power better journeys today and tomorrow’.

The objective of the Future Energy team is to evolve our energy offering to ensure we continue to meet the ongoing needs of our customers and deliver an energy offering to best leverage marketplace opportunities as they arise.

**The role**:
The IT Delivery Lead within Future Energy will be accountable for the delivery and release of complex IT initiatives to support new & scaling lines of business.

You will oversee projects or delivery through all stages of the project life cycle, work regularly within ambiguous, Greenfield environments, and play a key role in multiple IT workstreams to deliver long term change to Ampol business lines.

**As IT Delivery Lead within Future Energy, you’ll take us further by**:

- Defining the scope of IT solutions in order to deliver the Future Energy roadmap.
- Prepare project estimates and delivery plans for all initiatives.
- Work with development teams and vendors to allocate, track and deliver solutions
- Build and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and suppliers.
- Instill best practice delivery techniques, ensuring successful delivery of a variety of technology projects, potentially utilising Agile, Waterfall, Prince2 techniques.
- Coach and empower internal teams to develop a scaling, high performing team

This is a permanent position based in our Alexandria (Sydney) or Melbourne, with flexible, hybrid work options available.

**About You**:

- Proven track record in IT Delivery and successfully implementing complex IT integrations
- Experience working with agile and waterfall methodologies, and a proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Experience in building and facilitating high performing teams, encouraging the adoption of Agile mind-sets.
- Experience in working with third party vendors and system integrators to deliver complex solutions.
- A “Customer First” approach with both internal and external customers
- Experience in the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM), electricity retail is preferred.
