Our Energy Solutions team’s objective is to evolve our energy offerings, in alignment with one of Ampol’s four strategic pillars - Energy Transition and Decarbonisation.

People are at the heart of our success, and we have a current opportunity for a Data Performance Lead to define and implement metrics, tools and processes to measure the performance of data within the Energy Solutions business, working cross functionally and with a broad stakeholder community to deliver high quality and trusted data to the team.

This is a permanent position based in either Alexandria, Sydney (HQ), Melbourne, Brisbane or Wellington offices, with flexible, hybrid work options available.

**Key duties**:

- Identifying critical business data elements and requirements, as well as data quality uplift opportunities, working closely with Delivery and Operational Technology teams to deliver data management solutions
- Drive the improvement of data metrics & KPIs, supporting business owners to enable the use of metrics and insights to deliver business value
- Contribute to the development of key data tools, products & dashboards with Data and Analytics teams
- Collaborating across the business (product owners, engineering, stakeholders etc) to identify potential platform or data improvement initiatives
- Maintain Energy Solutions data within regulatory requirements

**About you**:

- 2+ years working in data solutions related field, either in Engineering or Governance
- Strong understanding of data performance architectures for how they impact data management principles
- Experience working on big data, data science or business optimisation problems - ideally within areas including data visualisation, data modelling, architecture and/or strategy, within complex system architecture environments
- Previous experience working effectively within cross-functional, Agile teams, and navigating large, complex stakeholder communities
