Reporting to the Technical & WHS Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering technical services across RAC Arena. Working alongside internal departments, touring production groups and corporate clients, the role involves coordinating the technical staff and external labour hire and ensuring relevant equipment is available to build the various modes of the main arena and function rooms.

**About Role**
- Assist the Technical & WHS Manager with the day-to-day running of the technical Department plus event rostering of the Technical Supervisors and casual operations staff
- Assist in providing event budgets and post-operating costs for all arena Events
- Assist in the procurement of technical equipment and the delivery of technical capital projects
- Ensure house equipment is regularly inspected, serviced and maintained
- Develop effective relationships with team members, including other departments, through appropriate communication and a positive attitude

**About You**
- 3-4 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar environment/department, with extensive knowledge and experience in AV systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills with the ability to problem-solve and think ahead.
- Excellent management and leadership skills to empower and motivate staff.

**DESIRABLE**:Experience in AutoCAD, High-Risk forklift license, High-Risk Elevated Work Platform licence, High-Risk Rigging licence and an understanding of rigging practices
