**Trainee Retail Manager/Warehouse Role.**

Store managers in training (up to 12 months) in our stores are responsible for ensuring there is a positive store culture where customer experience and safety culture remain our priority. You will manage the financial and sales performance of the store and warehouse.

**What you'll be doing.**

As a Store Manager in Training, you will be onboarded & work alongside an experienced Store Manager to learn & develop,
- Managing the financial performance of the store.
- Build, coach, and inspire your team.
- Ensure plans and strategies are effectively deployed to increase sales.
- Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and expenses.
- Provide clear direction to the management team.
- Enhance the overall customer experience for your community.
- Maintain the onsite warehouse runs efficiently and stock control is optimized with attention to detail.
- Control team rosters.

**To be successful in this role you'll have.**
- Must have prior experience in sales or similar sales roles in a high-volume retail environment.
- Experience coaching and leading diverse teams, implementing business and individual development strategies, or willing to learn.
- A belief in constantly motivating your team to ‘reach higher' every day.
- The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, and leaders.
- Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management, including wage and stock control.

This is a full-time position and only CVs accompanied by a cover letter detailing your skills, experience and proven ability in the above mentioned pre-requisites will be viewed and considered.

**Please note that this position requires that you work 5 days per week and may include weekends.**

**Salary**: $48,530.07 - $60,248.21 per year
