Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000

About the role

The Cabrini Procurement Team has primary responsibility for management of sourcing and purchasing activity at Cabrini and has established processes to enable staff to focus on their core roles of health care by providing efficient access to the goods and services needed to perform their roles.

The Clinical Procurement Specialist ensures pricing agreements are current and reflected in JD Edwards, and supports Clinical projects with the Clinical Procurement Lead and/or the Clinical Procurement Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with Business stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities and work plan- Engaging with current and potential suppliers to understand the external environment, including technology trends and industry best practice- Supporting the optimisation of value to Cabrini by providing the commercial lens, and thereby building the business’ view of Procurement- Negotiating and arranging the best value goods and services to meet Cabrini’s needs by considering the best mix of cost, quality, functionality and sustainability, while considering availability, time and effort to source, and costs to manage the supplier- Ensuring timely storage and filing of project documentation and reporting of progress against deliverables

About you

To succeed in the role you will require the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Supply Chain Management- CIPS accreditation (Desirable)- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role- Strong health industry experience, covering end-to-end sourcing of clinical products, capital and services (mandatory)- Experience in the contract establishment process, ensuring terms reflect favourable risk and commercial outcomes for the organisation- Demonstratable experience developing and sustaining relationships with key suppliers- Familiarity with the development of category plans and sourcing strategies- Ability to provide specialist procurement advice, guidance, and commercial support to operational and clinical stakeholders- Data analysis skills to facilitate performance tracking, measurement and reporting
