The Role
We are seeking experienced, positive, flexible and highly motivated Grade 2 dietitians interested in working across Cabrini Health (Malvern, Brighton and Elsternwick Specialist Centre) in four (4) Grade 2 dietitian positions. The Cabrini dietetics team is excited to be expanding, with three (3) new Grade 2 positions and one (1) 12 month fixed-term maternity leave Grade 2 position available.

The Grade 2 positions will all work as part of the rotational Grade 2 roles across the dietetics team with 6 monthly rotations across a range of clinical specialty areas, including: surgical, cardiac, orthopaedics, neurology, rehabilitation and palliative care, in addition to a newly created malnutrition focused role.

The three (3) new Grade 2 positions are full-time, ongoing positions. The 12-month fixed-term maternity leave position is currently 0.9FTE with the opportunity to flex to 1.0FTE and is available until 1 June 2026. All positions are available for immediate commencement.

Applicants must have experience in an acute or sub-acute clinical setting across a range of clinical areas. The successful applicants will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that the relevant clinical services demonstrate excellence, quality, current evidence-based practice and the highest level of patient satisfaction and staff engagement.

Experienced Grade 1 dietitians are also strongly encouraged to apply

Key Capabilities- Well consolidated post-graduate clinical experience in the acute healthcare setting- Demonstrated ability to consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective member of a team- Excellent time management skills and high degree of flexibility- Well-developed interpersonal skills, which include excellent communication skills- Commitment to continuing professional development and clinical research- Demonstrated ability to enhance the patient and family experience at Cabrini- Commitment to Cabrini’s Mission, Values and Behaviours that Matter

Essential- Dietitians Australia member and have Accredited Practicing Dietitian status- Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a dietitian in an acute or sub-acute healthcare setting

Desirable- Experience in student supervision (clinical placements)
