**About the role**

Yin Kwee Trading is a leading importer and exporter of premium food and consumer goods across Asia-Pacific. With multiple warehouse locations and a growing logistics footprint, we’re seeking a driven and experienced **Distribution Manager** to oversee the seamless flow of goods across our operations.

This role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution—from managing inbound inventory and stock accuracy to dispatch readiness, route planning, and internal transfers. You'll serve as the key liaison between warehouse operations, administration, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Warehouse & Inventory Control**
- Manage all inbound stock receipts, put-away, and product placement across multiple warehouse sites.
- Ensure accurate input and tracking within RF-Smart WMS, maintaining real-time stock visibility.
- Supervise storage optimisation, stock rotation (FIFO), and warehouse layout efficiency.

**Stock Availability & Internal Transfers**
- Monitor and manage stock levels across all warehouse locations to meet customer and operational needs.
- Coordinate and execute internal stock transfers between warehouses to balance availability and avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations to support fulfilment planning across sites.

**Outbound & Dispatch Readiness**
- Coordinate daily outbound operations; prepare, stage, and release stock for dispatch.
- Work closely with logistics planners and transport teams to ensure all goods are packed and labelled correctly for scheduled pickup.

**Route Planning & Resource Allocation**
- Plan and coordinate route scheduling in alignment with dispatch priorities, delivery deadlines, and customer service standards.
- Assign appropriate vehicle types and delivery resources based on order volume, destination, and vehicle availability.
- Monitor vehicle utilisation and optimise delivery runs for cost-efficiency and service performance.

**WMS & System Integrity**
- Maintain and oversee RF-Smart WMS to ensure inventory data integrity and enable seamless pick/pack operations.
- Address and troubleshoot any system issues that may disrupt warehouse or dispatch processes.

**SOP & Process Development**
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement standard operating procedures across warehousing, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety.

**Stakeholder Communication**
- Liaise with administration, procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align warehouse activities with business needs.
- Communicate effectively with 3PLs, drivers, and warehouse staff to manage expectations and resolve issues proactively.
- Provide leadership and task allocation to warehouse teams and to delivery teams, ensuring daily targets are met and system issues are resolved promptly.

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in WMS platforms, preferably RF-Smart, and handheld scanning devices.
- Strong understanding of import/export warehousing practices and logistics.
- Proven experience in route and resource planning for local or regional deliveries.
- Experience in managing multi-location stock and coordinating internal transfers.
- Strong coordination, communication, and team leadership abilities.
- Capability to work across multi-site warehouse environments.
- Forklift certification or relevant warehousing/logistics qualifications (preferred but not essential).

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
