House Manager required to efficiently manage the operation of a high profile executive residence in the ACT.

Your new employers provide a vital service that requires a full-time House Manager to efficiently manage the operation of a high profile executive residence.

**Your new role**
You will be responsible for leading a small team to ensure the residence is maintained and serviced to the highest industry standards, including the provision of housekeeping, coordinating repairs and maintenance and event management in accordance with established procedures. Duties will include but not limited to:

- Developing, implementing and monitoring household systems and procedures in consultation with the department
- The delivery of high level personal domestic services, including working closely with the senior chef and other household staff
- Managing stock control, inventory and purchasing of household goods in line with guidelines and budgetary parameters
- Presentation and cleanliness of the executive residence and surrounds (Gardens and grounds)
- Coordinating the delivery of functions, charities and organisations, selection of food and beverages, labour/equipment hire, meeting and greeting guests, facilitating access to the executive residence/grounds.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Essential that you are well presented, have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, demonstrating a high degree of discretion in the completion of duties
- Demonstrated experience with providing excellent customer service to senior executives, government representatives and the diplomatic corps
- Ability to demonstrate a considerable degree of independence and strong relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and foster networks and to manage and influence the expectations of key stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances as required, including an ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration
- Ability to work weekends and split shifts when required
