**Join us as a House Manager in Mawson.**

Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent, part-time employment based on performance.

**The Role**:
We're seeking an experienced House Manager to lead the operations of a residential home in Mawson, ACT. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the home and effective management of residents' SIL funding. You'll be at the heart of our mission, promoting a fun, flexible work environment, and you will have opportunities for career development within our highly supportive team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Home.
- Implement client-centred practices to support participants individually, including planning and delivery according to care plans.
- Enhance the quality of services to align with participant goals and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Rostering Coordinator on fortnightly rosters.
- Facilitate effective communication among staff, participants, families, and stakeholders to address and resolve concerns.
- Coordinate on-site support and oversee the review of incidents and complaints.

**About You**:

- At least 4 years of experience in a House Manager role.
- A relevant qualification in Community Services or Disability.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Experience in staff rostering and budget management.
- Familiarity with National Disability Service Standards, NDIS, and NDIS plans.
- Knowledge of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission requirements.
- A current ACT Full Driver's License.
- A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Must pass a satisfactory criminal record check.

**Employment Details**:

- Hours: 9-5, 38 hours per week.
- Basis: Casual for a 3-month probationary period, with a view to permanent, part-time employment.
